Indian farmers

We see our politicians asking for votes in the name of farmers. But the conditions of farmers never changed, that's why they are on roads. Recent protest happens in the another BJP led government state Rajasthan. Farmers protesting for farm loans waiver, implementation of Swaminathan Commission report among other things. The protest was peaceful and well designed. We have already seen blood shells in Madhya Pradesh, where six farmers lost their lives in police firing in the absence of leadership. In Rajasthan, 15,000 farmers were protesting at the Krishi Upaj Mandi in Rajasthan’s Sikar district from September 1, under the leadership of the All India Kisan Sabha. Their demands not only include a complete farm loan waiver, implementation of the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission, but also the withdrawal of the 2017 ban on cattle trade, a solution to the menace of stray cattle and a pension for farmers. The Rajasthan farmers have called off their strike after the state government agreed to waive off farm loans on 14 sept. The Rajasthan government announced a Rs 20,000 crore farm-loan waiver. which waived loans of up to Rs 50,000. Something new happened in this protest, which we have not seen in earlier protests, local market, businessmen supported farmer strike. The local market is suffering due to the farmer conditions, they told if farmers are in debts market cannot run flatly.
Government waiver of the loan but this is not the solution for the farmer's problem. Everyone understands the problems behind such a poor condition of our farmers but no one wants to restore them.
